Once a mid-19th century meeting place for Madrid's high society, this beautiful palace is now a luxurious disco. Manuel Gaviria, a prominent banker, hired an Italian architect to create the Renaissance-style palace in 1846. This place is simply beautiful. Album: Pachá - 10/04/03
Pachá (Pacha to the spanish-challenged), is one of Spain's infamous chain discos - born in Sitges city (Barcelona) 30 years ago, with clubs in Murcia, Torrevieja, Munich, London, Switzerland, La Pineda, Buenos Aires, Lleida, Ofir, Mallorca, Budapest, Madrid, Costa del Sol, and of course, Ibiza. Dead at 3am, this place was completely going off by 5am. Cover was 12 Euros and included a free drink, however drinks were on the high side! (9 Euros for a plain coke! Then again there was nothing stopping people from walking out/purchasing a beer for 1 Euro around the corner, and walking back in)[Madrid/Spain clubbing and nightlife pics]
